Millipedes

Portuguese millipedes are a seasonal nuisance in many parts of WA, especially after rain. These dark, fast-moving millipedes invade homes in large numbers, crawling over floors, walls, and ceilings. While they are not harmful to humans or pets, their sheer volume can be distressing and unsightly, and they emit an unpleasant odor when crushed.
